Kevin Clowe

Mr. Clowe is a Senior Advisor to ForeVest Capital Partners with responsibility for managing certain emerging market portfolios and other alternative investments, including non-performing loan portfolios. Additionally, he is a Senior Advisor to PineBridge Investments and serves on most of the Alternatives Group investment committees. Mr. Clowe is also a Senior Advisor to Ergo (intelligence advisory), Sovereign/Chubb (political risk insurance). Until 2014, Mr. Clowe was a Managing Director at PineBridge, with investment oversight responsibilities within the Alternatives Group, including serving on all alternatives investments investment committees (except hedge). Mr. Clowe also served on approximately 30 AIG alternatives investment committees comprising over $20 billion of commitments Mr. Clowe joined the firm’s predecessor company, AIG, in 1986 as Vice President of the Foreign Investment Department. He then served as AIG Assistant Treasurer, managing foreign exchange and capital markets activities. Subsequently, he managed a high yield joint venture with Drexel Burnham, and was a founding member and Managing Director of two AIG multi-$billion global emerging markets private equity businesses. Prior to AIG, Mr. Clowe was with The First Boston Corporation and Citibank in the corporate finance and international departments, respectively. He received his BA (honors) in economics from Union College, an MBA (Kent Fellow) in finance from Cornell University, and pursued (but did not complete) a PhD in international economics and politics at the University of Edinburgh (UK).
