John Leone

Mr. Leone is a founder and Managing Partner of ForeVest Capital Partners. He is actively involved in all investment related matters including negotiating terms of new investments, transaction structuring and execution, portfolio company monitoring, and portfolio company restructurings. He is also responsible for fund formation and all related execution matters. Prior to forming ForeVest, he has been working with the ForeVest team as part of PineBridge Investments since 2004. Mr. Leone formerly served as the General Counsel of PineBridge’s Emerging Market Private Equity (ex-Asia) operations. Mr. Leone has diverse private equity transactional experience having executed transactions in Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Turkey, Africa, and the former Soviet Union. He serves on the boards of several portfolio companies, including Orzel Bialy, Work Service, and IBEX Global Solution. Prior to joining PineBridge, he was an attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he advised private equity clients on leveraged buyouts, growth equity and venture capital investments, and fund formations. Mr. Leone earned a Juris Doctor, with High Honors, from The George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the Law Review, and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Mr. Leone is an American national.
